About the Canada Lynx Mathematical Competition

Canada Lynx Mathematical Competition (CLMC) is a new Canadian math competition for  students in grades 7-12, with questions based primarily on grades 7-11 core curriculum.

The CLMC is meant to foster interest and to increase confidence among students when it comes to their math abilities. The competition presents mathematics as a fun and playful subject to students. It is also a good tool for teachers to assess students’ mathematical skills at the beginning of the school year. The CLMC consists of 15 multiple-choice questions, which are divided in three parts and progress in difficulty.
