The award was renamed in 2008, in recognition of Graham Wright\u2019s 30 years of service to the Society as the Executive Director and Secretary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CMS aims to promote and celebrate diversity in the broadest sense. We strongly encourage department chairs and nominating committees to put forward nominations for outstanding colleagues regardless of race, gender, ethnicity or sexual orientation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nominations may be considered for up to three consecutive years. Unsuccessful nominations may be updated and resubmitted for consideration each year. Nominations should include a reasonably detailed rationale and be submitted by the deadline indicated above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All documentation should be submitted electronically, preferably in PDF format, by the appropriate deadline, to&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"mailto:gwaward@cms.math.ca\">gwaward@cms.math.ca<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Deadline: March 31, 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>En 1995, la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 math\u00e9matique du Canada a cr\u00e9\u00e9 un prix pour r\u00e9compenser les personnes qui contribuent de fa\u00e7on importante et soutenue \u00e0 la communaut\u00e9 math\u00e9matique canadienne et, notamment, \u00e0 la SMC. Ce prix \u00e9tait renomm\u00e9 \u00e0 compter de 2008 en hommage de Graham Wright pour ses 30 ans de service comme directeur administratif et secr\u00e9taire de la SMC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La SMC a pour but de promouvoir et de c\u00e9l\u00e9brer la diversit\u00e9 au sens le plus large. Nous encourageons fortement les directeurs et les directrices de d\u00e9partement et les comit\u00e9s de mise en candidature \u00e0 proposer des coll\u00e8gues exceptionnel.le.s sans distinction de race, de genre, d\u2019appartenance ethnique ou d\u2019orientation sexuelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La candidature restera active pendant un an seulement. Les candidatures non retenues peuvent \u00eatre mises \u00e0 jour et soumises \u00e0 nouveau pour examen chaque ann\u00e9e.
