In exceptional cases, outstanding contributions to one of the below areas may be recognised by fellowship.<\/p><ul><li>Making signi\ufb01cant contributions to the profession and to the Canadian mathematical community.<\/li><li>Increasing the relevance and visibility of the CMS.<\/li><\/ul><p>For a nomination to be complete, all <a href=\"https:\/\/cms.math.ca\/Fellows\/nom\">nomination requirements and eligibility<\/a> should be included. A CMS member may nominate a maximum of two Fellows in a calendar year.\u00a0 Any person who is nominated and is not selected a Fellow will remain an active nominee for a further two years.<\/p><p>The CMS aims to promote and celebrate diversity in the broadest sense.\u00a0 Nominations for outstanding colleagues are encouraged regardless of race, gender, ethnicity or sexual orientation.<\/p><p>All documentation, including letters of support, should be submitted electronically, preferably in PDF format, to <a href=\"mailto:fellows@cms.math.ca\">fellows@cms.math.ca<\/a> <strong>no later than
