The award recognizes individuals or teams of individuals who have made significant and sustained contributions to mathematics education in Canada. Such contributions are to be interpreted in the broadest possible sense and might include: community outreach programs, the development of a new program in either an academic or industrial setting, publicizing mathematics so as to make mathematics accessible to the general public, developing mathematics displays, establishing and supporting mathematics conferences and competitions for students, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CMS aims to promote and celebrate diversity in the broadest sense.&nbsp; We strongly encourage department chairs and nominating committees to put forward nominations for outstanding colleagues regardless of race, gender, ethnicity or sexual orientation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deadline for nominations is&nbsp;<strong>avril 30, 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Complete nomination requirements and details are available&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/cms.math.ca\/awards\/adrien-pouliot-award\/nomination-information\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please submit your nomination electronically, preferable in PDF format, to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:apaward@cms.math.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">apaward@cms.math.ca<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>La SMC sollicite des mises en candidature pour le Prix&nbsp;AdrienPouliot&nbsp;2024. Le prix r\u00e9compense une personne ou un groupe de personnes qui ont fait une contribution importante et soutenue \u00e0 l&rsquo;enseignement des math\u00e9matiques au Canada.
