We would like to share several upcoming opportunities with our student members!
📌 Join the Studc – by November 30, 2026
We are looking for new members to join our team! If you are interested in contributing to the national-level programming for mathematics students, check out the free (or soon empiting) positions on Studc at Our Members – CMS Studc SMC and apply here. Currently we are looking for a new website editor, associate editor, vice-Chair (future Chair!), and Student representative on the CMS Academic Council to start in January 2027. Note that Studc members should be (able to become) CMS members.
📌 Organize the 2027 CUMC – by November 30, 2026
We have officially opened the bids to host next year’s Canadian Undergraduate Math Conference (CUMC)! Now is your chance to bring the CUMC to your institution!
You can find more information about organizing the CUMC and submitting a bid for the 2027 edition (including the full application instructions) on Studc’s website. If you have any questions about the process, please don’t hesitate to email us at cumc-ccem@cms.math.ca.
